I am Victoria Jiménez Amengual
A graduate in Psychology from the University of the Balearic Islands, I qualified as a health psychologist after completing the official master’s degree in General Health Psychology at the same university. Throughout my career, I have continued to expand my training in specific areas such as couples therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma narrative therapy, and internal family systems therapy.
This background allows me to support people with an integrative vision, selecting the most appropriate tools for each process and always with a sensitive approach to trauma. My approach is based on the conviction that each person possesses valuable resources to heal and grow, and that therapy can become a safe space to rediscover them.
From curiosity to experience
I could explain how I came to psychology, but I actually feel that psychology came to me. I have always been driven by curiosity to understand human beings: how we think, feel, and relate. Over time, I discovered that this interest was not only intellectual, but also a deep calling to accompany others in their life processes.
I chose psychology because I firmly believe that we all have the capacity to grow, heal, and reconnect with our balance. My professional training has given me tools, but it is the experience with each person that has taught me that behind every story there is strength, hope, and a genuine desire to live better.
Today, I put all that experience and learning at the service of those who decide to start a therapeutic process, with the conviction that taking care of mental health is an act of self-love and the basis for a full life.
